I can't ask for better VR Res than the HP G2 Reverb, but more super sampling would be the cherry on cake. In the case of VR, these new cards seem to have the potential to have VR and also AR finally realized as the dream set up for the masses/Me, 120hrz 4k VR. I agree for what's out there for monitors seems more than enough and what's the point. So, this will be where if this coming Gen can do better than the 2080ti the way the 2080ti was supposed to do over the 1080ti and VR could become native for a more uses, then I would feel super excited. Though now, the 1080ti card is starting to somewhat struggle with the HP G2 Reverb, although still amazing and at times, but rarely nauseating, the VR looks better than my Monitor. My 1080ti has been and is still is enough for all available stuff out there, or at least up until this year. I got a 2080ti over my 1080ti, used it and saw minor properly working improvements, so I turned around and sold it at a $200 profit. the 2080ti was not quite there yet and all the VR enthusiasts might be feeling the same. I have been putting money away for the next worthy card and this may be it. Well, from my point of view, who uses VR everyday for more than 2hrs a day, I'd say yes.
